You Like Jazz? I sure don’t.
In The Bee Movie, You’ve got Jerry Seinfeld as your main character, cute cartoon bees and a plot to sue the human race, what’s not to love? Everything. Literally, everything you could possibly think of that happens in the bee movie is more cursed than a stuffed animal with human teeth. First of all, Barry (Seinfeld) comes back from college, that's how the movie starts. A bee gets home from college. Plausible, no? Next, to add to the poop parade that the movie is already turning out to be at this point, big guy Barry Bee Benson leaves his hive and falls in love with a human. What????? Might I ask what is attractive about a giant flesh colored object that's 3000x your size, that lumbers about aimlessly, and could kill you with one wrong swat of the hand? To continue on this dreaded feces festival, for some godforsaken reason, Mr. Bee Benson decides to file a class action lawsuit against the human race. Could you even sue the human race? Just as an individual could I decide that the rest of the world had to pay for their sins? I mean, there has to be a limit to how many individuals you can sue at once, right? But don't worry, this SCATastrophe isn’t over yet! Barry fantasizes about having a romantic afternoon picnic with the woman who’s helping him sue the human race who, mind you, left her boyfriend right around when Barry came into her life. To finish off this dumpster fire of a movie, it has a 50% on rotten tomatoes and a 6.1/10 on IMDb. And if by some way on God's green earth you still want to watch The Bee Movie after reading this, you can find it on Netflix, iTunes, Youtube, Amazon Prime, Google Play and Vudu!
