Self Care Club

When: Tuesdays at lunch

Where: Nyras room

What: Come in to have a treat, pet a dog, and just relax!

Student Senate:

When: Mondays at lunch

Where: Upper School conference room

What: “While there is an elected group of student senators always at our meetings, we encourage anyone to come! A lot of what we do in meetings is spitball ideas and plan events for the students. The quality of all the events and decisions we make as a Senate depends on how many people get to weigh in, so we really welcome anyone and everyone regardless of what grade you're in or how much you want to participate!” - Joe Hall, Student Body President

Green Team:

When: Tuesdays at activity

Where: Scott’s room

What: “Green Team is a really fun club! We raise awareness about our environment through our school’s community and we do community service projects around the valley! Come by Scott’s room during activities on Tuesdays if you want to learn more about saving our environment!” - Elle Mann, Green Team member.

Cutthroat Underground (Newspaper):

When: Wednesdays at lunch

Where: Aaron’s room

What: “The Cutthroat Underground is Community School’s student-led newspaper. Each week, our school’s journalists create content for the paper’s website and work on the print paper which is released every six weeks. Being part of the newspaper is an amazing way to hone writing, photography, and graphic design skills. Anyone interested in a fun, student-led creative outlet should join!” - Faye Prekeges, Cutthroat Underground Editor in Chief

When: Thursdays during activity

Where: Elliot's room

What: “During meetings we share general announcements, update students about various activities, certification courses, and other ways to become involved in the OLA.  Please contact me, Patrick Graham, for more information about how to join and stay involved.” - Patrick Graham, Outdoor Program Director

When: Thursdays during activity

Where: Anne’s room

What: “The CAA is for any student who is interested in the creative arts and wants to pursue that passion more intensely and rigorously.  We do things as a group both inside and outside of school, including painting sets/posters for both US and MS productions, attending SVCA/Company of Fools events and planning fundraisers to support future CAA endeavors.  All are welcome to come be a part of the CAA.” - Anne Aganon, CAA Advisor

Model UN:

When: Fridays during activity

Where: Eric’s room

What: “Model UN is super fun! We go to conferences all around the country to compete. We will be headed to Seattle in the beginning of November for our first conference this year! If you are interested in world relations, politics, the UN, or just learning more about what's going on in the world stop on by one of our meetings!” - Emily Boettger, Model UN member

Business Club:

When: Tuesdays during jobs

Where: Upper School conference room

What: “In the business club, we are currently focusing on the Campus Store; this entails buying new merchandise, learning to use the POS system, and learning the in's and out's of working in retail. Another added bonus - there are always snacks at our meetings!” - Noelle LaFleur, Business Club member
