In a town in Illinois a pig has escaped and has been roaming around evading capture for months now. The pig has become the town’s unofficial mascot and the townspeople have given it the nickname “Porkchop.” The pig escaped its owners and has been on the loose for almost a year now.
No one has been able to successfully catch the pig. Locals in the area have been following and keeping up with the pig’s progress and have even created a Facebook group where they share sightings and attempted captures of the infamous “Porkchop.”
People have definitely been feeding the fugitive pig, for the Animal Control Officer in the area reports that the big has become larger in size since they first observed it. The pig seems to be pretty friendly and has been spotted by many of the townspeople. The pig has pretty much become a citizen according to the Animal Control Officer. He states that neither they nor the pigs owners have had any luck in corralling or capturing the elusive escapee pig.
