Recently in Oxford England, two unusual critters have become surprisingly great friends. A wiener dog puppy named Fig has befriended a poor baby porcupine who was sadly rejected by its mother. The porcupine was taken in by a zookeeper, named Estelle Morgan, and she and her dachshund pup have been welcoming in Diablo, the baby porcupine, with open arms. The two make a funny and adorable pair, and they are another cute example of an unusual but special animal friendship. They joyfully frolic and play together all day. When Diablo was rejected by his own family he was accepted by this fun-loving wiener named Fig and found a best bud in an unexpected way. Diablo is doing very well and has now progressed from bottle feeding to eating solid foods. He is also learning important social skills with his best friend. Fig is even helping to make Diablo more calm and friendly towards others. You have to admit they make quite a cute and happy pair!
